Theory & Background

In our aesthetic training courses, you will learn about dermal fillers, specifically hyaluronic acid-based products. 

This course will cover how fillers work within the skin and facial anatomy, including the indications and contraindications for their use, as well as how to manage complications effectively. We will also delve into health and safety practices, infection control, and conducting thorough client consultations.

Injection Techniques (Practical Training)

Students will gain knowledge in safe product handling and preparation, along with needle and cannula techniques, tailored to the provider's methods. You will learn about injection depths, proper placement, and dosage administration.

Hands-on practice is a key component, typically involving live models under professional supervision.

Treatment Areas Covered at Foundation Level

The foundation filler training includes techniques for various treatment areas such as lips (for basic enhancement or volume), nasolabial folds (the lines from the nose to the mouth), and marionette lines (the lines extending from the mouth to the chin).

Managing Risks & Aftercare

Participants will be trained to recognize and treat adverse events, such as bruising, swelling, and vascular occlusion. We will also cover emergency protocols, including the use of hyaluronidase to dissolve filler. Comprehensive aftercare advice for clients will be provided.
